MTV Emerge: Support Now!

I remember years ago about my sisters who really loves to watch MTV, the moment they wake up the first thing they will do is to open the TV and watch for Music Videos until late at night. I don’t know why it just came to mind and made this as one of our topics with my friends’ conversation last week.

Out of my curiosity, I was able to search over the net about the newest MTV and guess what? I found this new platform for unsigned music talent in the Philippines which showcase their work and be given an opportunity to win a one-year recording contract with Jeepney Music- called the MTV Emerge. The MTV, Jeepney Music, and Department of Tourism collaboration not only aims to hunt for the hottest unsigned music talent from all genres of music but it also serve as an online music community where new music from the Philippines can be discovered.

Actually I just casted my vote for God Bless Philippines by Rapnophobia (Spyx)! A great video indeed, I chose it because seldom we can see and hear a good quality of music that gives values to our beloved country Philippines.
